there are guys in my dorm who decided to play cards in the elevator
see what intrigues me about college isn’t the intellectual pursuit or the bonding or whatever, its the fact that people have the freedom to do random shit like this
WHO BROUGHT THIS BACK!?
the origons of Ouija boards are funny if you think about it like they’re part of an another country (China)’s ancient history that was practiced until one emporer decided “You know what this is probably a bad idea” and banned the practice.
then centuries later an old buisnessman comes along and is like “I’m going to take this and market it as a toy to children.”
Which is the exact plot of Yu-Gi-Oh
Yes, because rich people are always rich through their own efforts and not just because they have rich families with their names alone carrying them through life. Because people on government assistance are just lazy assholes and not the elderly, the disabled and people who do work. Because lower income people totally have the same opportunities to access higher education, despite it costing a fortune even for those who have a shot at affording it, not to mention the fact that students who go to poorer schools will most likely have received an inferior high school education, leading to less incentive and ability to attend higher education. Even those who do well enrol at much lower rates than high and middle income people. Because job hiring is totally fair to everyone regardless of their ethnicity. The myth of unfettered upward mobility in the States is just that: a myth. The American Dream of being able to just pick yourself up by your bootstraps and make yourself a millionaire if you just try hard and believe in yourself is ludicrous.
Shut the fuck up.
There are poor people who have multiple jobs and still can’t afford the cost of living.
There are rich people who profit from poor people’s hard work.
Fuck you anon.
